Your First Orthodontic Visit
We understand that every patient’s needs and expectations about orthodontics are different. That’s why we take great care to provide you the individualized treatment you deserve. At Vincent Orthodontics our focus is on your concerns. Our goal is to provide you with uncompromised quality care at an affordable price in a warm and personable environment.
At your complimentary initial visit you will receive a brief tour of our office and see how our office functions. You will then be seated in our consult room where Dr. Vincent will listen to your chief concerns regarding the goals you would like to accomplish from orthodontic treatment. He will perform a thorough clinical examination of the entire chewing system, which includes the teeth, facial structures, occlusion (how the teeth fit together), the associated joints (TMJ), and the periodontium (gums/bones).
After this initial exam, Dr. Vincent will either recommend “observation” status or advise diagnostic records to determine the best course of treatment. The purpose of “observation” is to allow us to monitor growth and development of the teeth and face. This will allow us to choose the most opportune time to address our patient’s unique orthodontic problems.
If records are deemed appropriate at the initial visit and you wish to proceed, we will gather the information necessary to formulate a customized treatment plan. An estimation of fees and duration of treatment will also be given if appropriate.
Unless records are taken, there will be no charge for this visit.
