Treatment Philosophy
We consider orthodontics to be more than just a cosmetic service. We consider it to be a health science. Our office strives to provide not only the most attractive smiles, but also the most optimal health of the chewing system. We treat many patients who must have treatment for a second time. Often these situations could have been avoided had the first orthodontic treatment provided more than tooth alignment. Even if a beautiful smile is your only desire, Dr. Vincent can design a custom treatment plan that will achieve your cosmetic goals and provide stability to protect your investment. Each and every patient undergoes a comprehensive diagnostic process that allows our patients to consistently and predictably achieve superior treatment results.

Diagnosis
Diagnostic records in our office include digital photos, digital xrays, and mounted study models. These study models allow Dr. Vincent to not only study the teeth, but also to view how the teeth and joints work together. The popular non-mounted technique does not allow this relationship to be evaluated, which we feel is of utmost importance to the final health and stability of our outcome. Once our records are gathered, Dr. Vincent will then need to take the proper time to study the records. This is critical in allowing a customized diagnosis and treatment plan. Attempting to properly diagnose and treatment plan at the initial appointment simply does not allow each patient to have a comprehensive, individualized evaluation.

Consultation
At this time Dr. Vincent will have a thorough discussion on the patient's specific orthodontic problems, their solutions, and the treatment options that are available to reach our goals. Financial options and flexible payment plans will be given at this time. This appointment will be at a time when no other patients are in the office, so that we can give you our undivided attention in a relaxed, no pressure environment. You will leave this appointment with all the necessary information for you, the patient, to make your own decision as to the treatment you desire.

Active Treatment
Dr. Vincent places each and every brace on his patients. This is not a delegated duty in our office. Dr. Vincent sees every patient at every appointment, and makes all decisions that are necessary to allow excellence in our orthodontic outcomes

At Vincent Orthodontics, we are committed to providing the highest quality of treatment available. New technology has allowed us to better serve our patients, many times resulting in superior outcomes with less invasive procedures. For instance, the use of computerized video imaging allows our patients to view possible treatment outcomes prior to undergoing actual treatment. This in turn gives the patient a better understanding of treatment benefits. Such techniques as Damon^®, Invisalign^®, Inspire "Ice", temporary anchorage devices, and soft tissue lasers allow us to present treatment options that were not possible in the past. We utilize the latest technology available to achieve the best results possible.
